1. RENTAL INCLUSIONS
Relocation bookings are heavily discounted and subject to special terms and conditions.
These bookings are subject to change or cancellation, including on the day of travel, and
some vehicle features may not be fully operational.
Your rental includes:
Unlimited kilometres
For New Zealand, Road User Charges (RUC) will not be payable by the person relocating the vehicle
Roadside assistance
Standard Risk-Taker excess reduction package
Additional inclusions or exclusions will be specified in your booking confirmation.
Common inclusions may include:
Vehicle Ferry Transfer: reimbursement of the vehicle ferry cost (passenger tickets are at the hirer's own expense). Book both ferry and passenger tickets, keep the receipt, and the Rental Operator will reimburse the vehicle ferry portion upon drop-off.
Fuel Reimbursement: Fuel costs up to the value specified on your booking confirmation. Return the vehicle full, keep the GST tax receipt, and the Rental Operator will reimburse the fuel cost upon drop-off.
Important: Credit card receipts are insufficient for reimbursement. A GST tax invoice clearly itemising costs and GST is required.
2. RELOCATION BOOKING CANCELLATION

Rental Operator reserve the right to cancel a relocation booking if the need to relocate the vehicle no longer exists. In such cases:
You will be informed as soon as possible.
Rental Operator will attempt to provide a substitute vehicle if available.
No refunds will be provided for out-of-pocket expenses, accommodation, meals, or changes to your itinerary.
We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover unforeseen costs including due to a booking cancellation.

Direct bookings through Rental Operator are subject to Rental Operator’s Terms and Conditions.
3. INTENDED PURPOSE OF RELOCATION
The primary purpose of your booking is to relocate the vehicle from the pick-up branch to the designated drop-off branch, within the specific timeframe as stated in the booking details.
You are not permitted to:
Drop off the vehicle at a different location
Return the vehicle to the original pick-up branch
Change the drop-off date or time without prior approval
Changes are at the discretion of Rental Operator and may result in:
A relocation fee of up to $500
Plus, additional costs to return the vehicle to the correct location
Plus, costs associated with lost revenue if the relocation period is extended
4. USAGE OF ACCESSORIES
You are permitted to use vehicle accessories such as fridges, beds, and cookers during the relocation.
However, some accessories may not be operational or may be missing, particularly if the vehicle is being relocated for repair.
No discounts, refunds, or compensation will be offered for non-functional or missing accessories.
5. REPORTING ACCESSORY DEFECTS
If an accessory is defective during the rental period, it must be reported to the Rental Operator within 24 hours of discovering the issue, or report it at drop-off (whichever comes first).
No compensation, discounts, or refunds will be provided for reported defects.
6. AMENDMENTS TO RELOCATION BOOKINGS
All amendments are subject to availability and operational requirements.
Extensions beyond the standard relocation period may incur additional charges based on Rental Operator’s daily rental rates.
Extensions are not guaranteed, particularly if the vehicle is required at its destination by a specific date.
7. VEHICLE MAKE/MODEL AVAILABILITY
While every effort will be made to provide the requested make and model.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent this, a substitute vehicle may be provided, or the
booking may be cancelled.
You will be notified as soon as possible if a change or cancellation is necessary.
8. BREACH OF CONTRACT
Rental Operator reserve the right to terminate the hire and take immediate possession of the vehicle if:
The hirer breaches or fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions
The vehicle is damaged due to the hirer’s actions
Termination does not affect:
The owner’s right to claim damages or costs
The hirer’s obligations under this agreement
9. GENERAL TERMS
All relocation rentals are subject to the Rental Operator’s standard Terms and Conditions.
10. EXCESS REDUCTION OPTIONS
Optional excess reduction packages are available:
Cars:
Stress Free: $0 Excess / $0 Bond – $20 per day
Stress Free Plus: $0 Excess / $0 Bond – $25 per day
Campervans and Motorhomes:
Stress Free: $0 Excess / $0 Bond – $30 per day
Stress Free Plus: $0 Excess / $0 Bond – $45 per day
Standard Terms and Conditions apply to all Excess Reduction packages. Additional inclusions based on the chosen coverage level are available on the rental operator’s websites.
By proceeding with a relocation booking, you acknowledge and accept these Relocation Terms and Conditions.
